Being pioneers of the Restaurant Design since the 1980"s,  the Architect Couple Ma. Elena E. Lamasan and Reynold C. Lamasan  had manifested the well-seasoned prowess in expressing the good old days of the Philippine memorabilla.  At present, both are Partners at   RCLA MARU ARCHITECTS CO. - a Design-Build Firm and used to be diligent employees of Z-Design Inc., one of the well-known Design Firms in the Wall Street of Ayala Avenue, Makati up to the late '90s managed by the then former Miss Young Philippines of the 70's – Ms. Maricar Zaldarriaga.

The Architect's Perspective

The RCLA MARU ARCHITECTS  CO. had harnessed its artistic potential in Restaurant and Fastfood Design with the Members of its Team's expertise that started in the 1980's being the pioneer designers of Jollibee Foods Corporation, Greenwich and other high-end Interior Design Projects of the Z-Design Inc, one of the Leading Architecture/Interior Firm in Ayala Avenue, Makati during its era.

Some of their past works aside from high end offices and residential
were Outlets of the No. 1 Fastfood Chain in the Country, Jollibee Foods Corporation  where they produced worth remembering Interior Concepts inspired by the Fastfood outlet's influences on  Geographic Location, History and Culture.

It was a challenging Role then for Z-Design Inc to lift up Jollibee Outlets into the limelight above McDonalds as the prime rival on those years. Posed in various site conditions - free-standing.  interior as-built renovations and face lifting tasks, the couple Architects Lamasans had been honed to meeting design circumstances with a positive attitude and creativity.
